An embroidery hoop has a simple beauty to it. It brings up warm feelings of quilting bees and sewing circles. Makes you think of quiet time sitting and working on beautiful works of hand stitched artistry. Classic. Ironically, I can’t embroider one stitch, but I sure do love the hoops! On my “things to sit down and learn” list is embroidery. I love this video that helps make it seem do-able. Here are some of my favorite fun, funky and functional things that can also be done with embroidery hoops– that don’t necessarily involve embroidery!
